Brain food

A lot of you might already know about TED, but for those of you that haven't discovered it yet, I thought I'd introduce you.

TED.com is a collection of recorded presentations and speeches by eminent speakers from various fields around the world. The topics on offer include Design, Technology, Entertainment, Business, Science, and Global Issues just to name a few.

The one thing they all have in common is that speakers share fascinating and unique insights into their particular specialty. Quite often these are people who are pushing the boundaries of their discipline, exploring unexpected and revolutionary fields, or shedding new light on old ones. Not only are the short videos interesting and well worth a watch if you have 20 minutes spare, but they get you thinking.
